Dark like the night!
Morbid wounds are healed,
Binding scars revealed,
Inner soul fulfilled!

The world is a very different place at dusk
Anxiety spreads like a plague
Walking the streets drunk with bitter thoughts
It s the only way I feel half sane
If only I could see you now I d punch you in the face
To give you back the hate I ve saved for years
But now I sleep awake as my mind walks on
This feeling is taking over!

Silent is the hour of the aftermath
Black shadow of my thoughts now dead
The haunting voice within has left me alone
Left me to face my reality
This voice is in everyone some more than others
It makes you think dark like the night
